Three days is our most popular way to see Amboseli well. You get two dawns for the mountain, a full day with no driving and time to follow the elephants wherever the day takes you.
The middle day is the one guests remember. We spend the morning with the herds, rest through midday and head out again when the light turns gold.

Itinerary
- Day01
Nairobi to Amboseli
Leave Nairobi around 6:30 am. Drive via Emali to Iremito Gate (about 204 km), lunch at your lodge and an afternoon game drive at the swamps. Dinner and overnight.
- Day02
Full day in the park
Dawn drive for elephants and mountain views, breakfast, then a late morning stop at Observation Hill, one of the few places in the park where you can step out of the vehicle. Rest at midday, then an afternoon game drive. A visit to a Maasai community can be added.
- Day03
Final dawn and return
One last early drive, breakfast and the road back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.

Two dawns and one full day in total. Dawn drive, Observation Hill, midday rest and an afternoon drive. The swamps and the hill are a short drive from the main lodge area.

Day 3: Iremito Gate back to Nairobi
204 km, 4 to 5 hours. One last early drive, breakfast and the road back, arriving in the late afternoon.
