Drive via Emali to Iremito Gate (about 204 km). Lunch and afternoon game drive.

Full day in Amboseli
Dawn game drive for elephants and mountain, then a second drive in the afternoon.

Final dawn game drive then drive to Nairobi (4 to 5 hours). Overnight in Nairobi.

These cover the two Amboseli nights. The middle night is in Nairobi, and we select the two Mara nights to match your tier. For the Mara, for example, a lodge on the reserve edge such as AA Lodge Masai Mara or Mara Sopa Lodge for a mid-range stay, or Mara Serena Safari Lodge for a higher tier, subject to availability. For the Nairobi night, typical options are hotels such as Jacaranda Westlands, Sarova Stanley or Nairobi Serena Hotel, depending on your budget. These are independent properties, named as examples only.

Nairobi to Sekenani Gate in the Mara is roughly 230 to 270 km and about 5 to 6 hours by road. Driving Amboseli to the Mara directly is a full day of 8 to 10 hours, which is why we route through Nairobi or fly.
